COVID-19 POLICIES

At Newmarket Optical, safety for our customers and our staff is always our first priority.  As an essential business, we have been able to stay open in various capacities to continue to serve you since the start of the Pandemic.  We have implemented disinfection rules and strategies to ensure that you feel safe when shopping with Newmarket Optical.

Masks MUST be worn at all times when in our store.  If there is a medical reason why you are exempt from wearing a mask, we ask that you remain in your vehicle and call into the store for service.  We will do all that we can to provide you with great customer service while keeping shoppers and staff safe. While we value each and every customer, we are doing all that we can to follow Government mandated mask requirements and working to stop the spread of COVID-19.

We have regular disinfection of high traffic touch points such as door handles and dispensing desks, and we work diligently to ensure that tools and dispensing aids are sanitized after every use. While shopping, you will be given a tray for anything you touch or try on. These items will be sanitized after your visit with us.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during these unprecedented times.  Please know that supporting small business is vital in keeping our economy thriving and our communities happy and healthy.   Many of our policies are requirements implemented by the Government and our College of Opticianry. Our staff do not have the ability to change or waive these policies so please be respectful and understanding when shopping with Newmarket Optical.
